The Yotruth Ultralight Down Sleeping Bag is lightweight and comes with a stuff sack to compress it into a nice, small package for travel or packing. The zipper is fairly robust and I haven't noticed any issues with it snagging the material. As a sleeping bag, it would be usable for warmer temperatures and climates. It doesn't have a hood so that needs to be a consideration when planning to use it as a sleeping bag. Where this really shines is as a campfire blanket. It does an excellent job of blocking wind and retaining heat. The exterior material is also very easy to clean and doesn't get sticks, leaves, and dirt stuck to it like a traditional blanket does.
It's snug, it's simple, it's light. There's a drawstring at the head, but it's a long rectangle shape, no 'hood' shaping at the head end, and no foot box to speak of at the bottom end, but like I said- great for the minimalist, keeps weight low. I combined it with this bivy bag (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DP6G8JND), and the combo make a great three season ultra light sleeping setup.
I was disappointed to find a down-filled blanket that was so mediocre at keeping a person warm. I have used this, as have my kids, and barely noticed it. It does stop a wind from getting through, so perhaps it is a better campfire blanket, though I would be cautious with embers due to the material it is made from.It is lightweight but a little bulky, so using it as a sleeping bag will depend on how you are transporting it to the campsite.I can only recommend this blanket for warmer spring and fall days, or summer camping. I would say that as a blanket it would be useful down to 45F, though as a sleeping bag I can't imagine using it lower than 50F. Smaller bodies might need that temperature to be higher.
For a spring/summer sleeping bag this is pretty nice. The 50dg comfort rating means it won't be good in the winter. My main complaint is that it only comes with a stuff sack and not a storage sack. It's better for down to not stay compressed all the time in the stuff sack.
This lightweight sleeping bag is quite light indeed. I have a couple other name brand bags which are lighter, but cost much more. This bag is well made with no loose threads and quality straps. The compression bag is built into the bag itself making it easy use. The material is a bit "plastic" feeling, but it should be durable and water resistant. Overall, this is a good hiking bag or bag to keep in your vehicle for emergency use.
